What does Unwind actually do?
Unwind turns your phone screen into a soft warm light while playing ambient audio you can blend in real time. Pick an orb, set a duration, set your phone on your nightstand. The screen becomes the room's light source and the audio fills the space. When the timer ends, everything fades to dark on its own.
Is it free?
Yes. The core experience is completely free. No subscription required. No account needed.
Can it block apps like Instagram and TikTok?
Yes. Before your session starts, you can choose apps to lock. Easy mode lets you bypass if you choose to. Strict mode blocks access until your timer ends — no exceptions.
How private is it?
Extremely. Unwind collects almost no data, works entirely offline, and never requires a sign-in. See our privacy policy.
Does it work with StandBy mode?
Yes. Set your phone sideways on a charger and the session continues in StandBy. The orb glows on your nightstand while the audio plays.
